Why I
can't add the video file to the source files list?
DVD Creator Plus supports many video formats to DVD such
as Avi, Wmv, Asf, Divx, Xvid, Rm, Rmvb, Mov, Mp4, Mpeg,
Flv, etc. You should install the codec of the video

Can I save
the output DVD structure on hard disk and build it on DVD
disc later?
Yes,
you can. Select "Create Video DVD" on the main window,
and at the "Burn Video DVD" step, do not insert a blank
in the burning device and click "Start Burning" button.
Ignore the "no disc" warning and click "Continue (OK)"
button. At the log window, you will see the "VIDEO_TS"
folder location where the output DVD files
(*.ifo;*.bup;*.vob) will be. Later, you can burn this
files on a blank either using DVD Creator Plus (select
"Video DVD Burner" at the beginning) or other dvd
burning software, such as Nero.
How long does it
take to convert my video movies into
DVD?
This
depends on the movies' length, your computer's
configurations, your burning device's speed and software
enviornment (such as the video decoder codec's speed).
DVD Creator Plus uses our fast DVD Mpeg-2 Encoder, which
bases on MMX-SSE & 3DNow! technology, so it's almost the
world's fastest dvd converting tool. As our best test,
it takes only 23 minutes for an hour's movie to be
converted to DVD video files (P4 3.0GHz, 1GB RAM).

DVD
(commonly "Digital Versatile Disc", previously "Digital
Video Disc") is an optical disc storage media format
that can be used for data storage, including movies with
high video and sound quality.
What is
'Codec'?
Abbreviation for compressor/decompressor. Codecs are
various types of computer algorithms that are applied to
audio, video, and image files to compress the size of
the files.
What is .IFO
file?
The .IFO (and backup .BUP) files contain menus and other
information about the video and audio.
What is .VOB
file?
VOB files (for DVD-Video) are MPEG-2 program streams
with additional packets containing navigation and search
information.
What is .BUP
file?
Backup file of the .IFO file.
What is
NTSC(PAL) video standard?
NTSC: Short for National Television System
Committee. The NTSC is standard for television defines a
composite video signal with a refresh rate of 60
half-frames (interlaced) per second. Each frame contains
525 lines and can contain 16 million different colors.
PAL:
Short for Phase Alternating Line, the dominant
television standard in Europe. The United States uses a
different standard, NTSC Whereas NTSC delivers 525 lines
of resolution at 60 half-frames per second, PAL delivers
625 lines at 50 half-frames per second. Many video
adapter that enable computer monitor to be used as
television screens support both NTSC and PAL signals.
What's Divx?
DIVX is the "MP3" for movie. You get the same video
quality as DVD while keep 1/10 of the size. You can play
DIVX in your computer or share it in Internet. Some
up-to-date DVD players can now play DIVX movie as well.
